Notes for the show Saturday 9/19. Pleasure 11 am; speed 2 pm

**Maureen is running the show and will need volunteers to help!
**If necessary, a cancelation decision and notification would be posted around 8 a.m.
**BRING WATER FOR YOUR HORSE! There is no running water on site
**Cash or check only, please
**No concession stand, just drinks and chips
**Helmets for youth and junior riders if mounted
**Trailers park in the field and spectators park along the driveway

POST UPDATED WITH 2 SEPTEMBER OPTIONS. PLEASE READ.

the weather has been tough on our show schedule this year. We have the opportunity to add two more shows (weather permitting, of course) IF THERE IS INTEREST. We would need enough participants to cover the costs of hosting a show. There are three possible dates: SEPTEMBER 26, SEPTEMBER 27 (1:00 START) and NOVEMBER 7. Let's focus on Sept first.

I have a family wedding to attend Sept 26, so I personally am only available to help out with the first part of the show that day. IF YOU WOULD BE AVAILABLE TO COMPETE AND/OR HELP WITH A SHOW SEPT 26 at 11 or SEPT 27 at 1, PLEASE COMMENT BELOW, PM US, OR EMAIL [email protected] BY SUNDAY.

Don't forget we have a regularly scheduled show coming up Sept. 19 (which also desperately needs volunteers--please let us know if you can help since some people are missing that day), Oct. 10, and Oct. 24. There is a fun and games show scheduled for Oct. 25.

We had a lovely ride at Ramsey today. A couple of members are doing a nighttime ride tonight. Another member took her new horse on a mounted hound walk in preparation for fox hunting this season. What horsey things did you do today?

Update—the current plan is to ride at Ramsey State Rec Area in Ramsey, IL.

Unfortunately, we have decided to cancel Saturday's show due to the excessive heat. We're contacting our judges to see if any of them have open dates. Keep an eye out for announcements. The next regularly scheduled show is September 19. We will need volunteers to help out that day since several board members will be unavailable.
