Not a bad way to kick off our first 11U tournament of the season! 💪⚾️

The Savages went 4-1 this weekend and finished 2nd in the Gold Bracket out of 16 teams! 🧡💚

These boys got to the fields before 8:00 a.m. today, played three games, spent nearly 10 hours at the fields, and battled through the heat all day long. That’s a long day of baseball, and they never stopped competing!

We learned a LOT, saw some things we need to work on, and got our first taste of what 11U baseball is going to bring. That’s exactly what these early tournaments are about — competing, learning, adjusting, and getting better every time we step on the field.

Proud of these boys for battling all weekend and starting the season with a championship-game appearance. We’ve got work to do, but there’s a whole lot to be excited about with this group!

We’re incredibly honored to be recognized by the Daily American Republic following our 10U Missouri State Championship. This team has put in countless hours of practice, traveled hundreds of miles, and never stopped believing in each other. Their hard work, determination, and love for the game made this moment possible. 🧡💚

Thank you to everyone who has supported the SEMO Savages throughout this journey. We’re proud of what these boys have accomplished, and we’re even more excited for what’s ahead.

🏆 USSSA Southern Missouri State Champions! 🏆

What a way to end the season.

This weekend, our boys went 5-0 and brought home 1st Place out of 11 teams at the USSSA Southern Missouri State Championship in Springfield. We battled rain on Friday, heat all weekend, and faced teams we’d never played before—but these boys never backed down.

This wasn’t just another tournament. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable spring season.

⚾️ Season Record: 33-6-1
🥇 5 Championships out of 10 Tournaments
🔥 Back-to-back-to-back 1st Place finishes to close out the season

From St. Louis to Branson, Cape Girardeau to Springfield, these boys brought heart and determination to every game.

This group didn’t just learn how to play better baseball. They became brothers. They celebrated each other’s successes, picked each other up after tough moments, and learned what it means to fight together. Watching their confidence, skills, and friendships grow has been something every coach and parent will remember for a long time.

To our coaches—thank you for believing in our boys and pouring your hearts into them.

To the parents and families—thank you for every mile, every hotel stay, and every cheer from the stands.

And to these boys… thank you for giving us a season we’ll never forget. You made us proud every single game.

🏆 BATTLE FOR THE BELT CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What a Father’s Day weekend for the SEMO Savages! 💚🧡

These boys went 4-0 and brought home 1st Place in the Gold Bracket at the Battle For The Belt Tournament in Cape Girardeau.

What made this weekend special wasn’t just the wins—it was the way this team played for each other. Every player had a teammate’s back, whether it was a big hit, a clutch play, cheers from the dugout, or picking each other up after a tough inning. This group showed what it means to be a team.

We also have to give a shoutout to the dads this weekend. The custom Father’s Day jerseys featuring their players’ faces were a huge hit. Whether they were coaching or cheering from the stands. They fully embraced the fun and made the weekend even more memorable.

More than baseball. More than teammates. Family.

Today we celebrate the men who spend countless hours in the bleachers, on the bucket, behind the fence, and on the road making memories with their ballplayers.

Thank you for the early mornings, late nights, endless practices, tournament weekends, carrying all the gear, throwing one more round of BP, and always believing in these kids.

Whether you’re coaching from the dugout or cheering from the stands, you’re helping shape more than baseball players — you’re helping raise great young men.

🏆 CHAMPIONS 🏆

The SEMO Savages went 4-0 this weekend at the Shawnee Invitational in Cape Girardeau to bring home the championship!

The championship game was a pitcher’s battle from the first inning to the last. Both teams competed hard, but our boys stayed locked in, made the plays behind their pitchers, and found a way to get the win.

We are so proud of the effort, teamwork, and determination this group showed all weekend. They played hard, supported each other, and earned this championship.
