🎉 25 YEARS OF ROCKLAND ROWING!

On November 12, 2026, we’re bringing together our athletes, alumni, families, and community at the Nyack Seaport for RRA’s 25th Anniversary Gala & Awards Dinner! 🥂✨

This will be a very special night celebrating 25 years of RRA, recognizing our incredible athletes, honoring our co-founders Peter Fernberger and Bronwyn Woodhead, and thanking the board members whose years of service have helped make RRA what it is today.

This year, we’re also working toward a BIG goal: raising $100,000 for new boats! 🚣‍♂️ Many of the boats in our fleet were already secondhand when we purchased them and have now served generations of Rockland rowers. It’s time to put new boats on the water for the next generation. 🩵

Just a few more days until the start of our fall season! 🍁🍂🚣
It’s a favorite season for many rowers—beautiful colors, cooler weather, flat water, and, of course, head racing!

Only a few spots available for our preseason program, running August 17–29. Our fall season officially begins August 31!

We can’t wait to get back on the water and see what this season brings! 🚣‍♂️🩵

We wrapped up the season with a team breakfast, games, lots of laughs, and even a few races in sweep boats 👀

Before our summer season comes to an end, we want to recognize one of the biggest achievements by one of our athletes this year.

Ellie Mercurio was selected to attend the U.S. Selection Development Camp, where she had the opportunity to represent the United States at the International Rowing Challenge, competing against athletes from New Zealand, Canada, and Mexico.

Ellie, thank you for representing Rockland Rowing and Team USA with such pride, dedication, and sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of you and all that you have accomplished. Congratulations on this amazing achievement!🩵❤️🤍🇺🇸

Great racing this weekend at the Philadelphia Independence Day Regatta!
🚣 Congratulations to all of our athletes for representing Rockland so well. A special shoutout to Jesse Garcia and Joshua Park for bringing home 2nd place in the U17 2x! 🥈
