Switching it up a little this weekend with Lorain bringing the Legends into action! Excited to race this track again, it’s been 4-years since we have raced there. Should be an action packed show, and weather is looking better!

Poor car hasn’t seen the light of day in 6-weeks just hanging out in the trailer. Looks like it will finally get to see the track tonight! Need to put some fresh Klotz in her,, some fuel, and quick check over and they it’s off To Midvale speedway for some Racing!!! Both cars will be on track tonight, should be a good night racing!

The ole dirt Acura finally ran like it should! Fast car, the tires I had on the front were not the greatest and became very apparent in the beginning of the race when the track was super slick.

We would start near the tail, and at the drop of the green all we did was sit there and spun. The first 20 laps or so was all about just keeping the panels on the car. Early on we noticed the fuel was dropping kinda fast…….. and tried to conserve some fuel. Once the track started coming in we could finally start stretching her legs and was running pretty decent, car definitely has more in it. A couple of wild cards out there that were tearing up some cars so we were going cautiously. After the 100 laps mark we were already nearing the low fuel light🤪. Would run another 15 laps or so before pulling it in under green to gas up. While there we noticed a clicking sound under power which was obvious it was a CV joint failing. Went out anyway and lasted about 5-7 laps before it went. Oh well, if that wouldn’t have failed probably could have been on the podium……..but that’s how it goes!

We have a conflict for next race, so with the car for sale this will likely be our last dirt race.

Racing tonight has been cancelled at Midvale Speedway. Since the Dirt enduro car has not yet been sold, guess we will go chase a ‘W’ in that ole girl at Goods Raceway! Hopefully we don’t get too much rain to impact that race!

Well Tonight We had a pretty good hot rod with 2 features taking place. Due to life, I would miss practice/qualifying and have to drop right into the firs feature. Based on previous event qualifying, we would start the first feature on the outside front row. With the inside line being where most of the action was at, we would quickly get shuffled back. While working forward, we would have an awesome ~10lap battle with the #4 of Tevin Harvin, and ultimately settle for a 4th place finish.

In the 2nd feature, we would start the tail due to no qualifying, and while there was several moments in the first 7-8 laps that thought would bring out the caution, it never flew and we would have to wait out time to start picking cars off. We would make our way forward and fight to make a last lap move for the podium but would have to settle for another 4th by 0.025 sec.

Overall car was great, Just need to get a little more aggressive on car placement and making moves. Glad its all in one piece for another night of battle.
