The screens go dark, the humming starts to fade,
We step beyond the world that we were made
To blindly serve, to endlessly consume,
And walk into a wider, breathing room.
Here is the dirt, the unpolluted soil,
The quiet dignity of honest toil.
No algorithms tell us what to feel,
We trace the jagged edges of the real.
No avatars, no masks of shining glass,
Just shadows moving slowly through the grass.
We look into each other's waking eyes,
And strip away the comfortable lies.
The wind is cold, the mountain path is steep,
But we are done with sleepwalking through sleep.
The meaning isn't handed down in code,
It is forged in sweat upon an untamed road.
So let the system run its hollow race,
We have the sun, the rain, the open space.
To live outside the wire, wild and free—
To author our own lives, and simply be.
