Pointe work should never be taught as if it were a track race. It takes proper time to succeed for precision and safety. It’s not about satisfying or giving in to the student or parent, but instruction in personal bodily technique. Teaching a dancer properly in flat shoes will garner greater success when and if they have the opportunity to be put en pointe. Good luck to all the new recruits everywhere! 🩰🩷

ITS FINALLY HERE!!!! WE’RE BACK TO DANCE!!! We can’t wait to see you tonight beginning at 4:30pm with our little jammers class! Remember…this week and until Monday of next week is DANCE FREE WEEK where you can try us on for size! 🌟

Please remember that we always offer (1) trial class all year, but this week, you can try as many as you want. 👍

ADULT BALLET AT JAM!

Join us for adult dance every Friday at JAM Dance Academy starting September 11th! No pressure, no stress, no dress code. Come in something comfortable! Ballet slippers or socks are fine! Fun and smiles are required! We had an amazing group this summer and we’d like to keep the energy going!!!

Taught by Executive Artistic Director and peer adult, Jennifer Muselin who’s right there along with you!
