Happy 14th Birthday, Amelia! 🎉✈️ Amelia
Today is a pretty special day—you officially became a third-generation pilot in our family. I know Grandpa would be looking down with a huge smile, just as proud of you as I am.
Soloing a glider on your 14th birthday is no small accomplishment. It took a lot of planning, training, dedication, and hard work to make this day happen, and you earned every bit of it.
Watching you continue a family tradition that started with Grandpa, then me, and now you is something I’ll never forget. Three generations, one love for flying. ❤️✈️

POV: Landing the Kodiak 🛩️🌲
Short grass strip, 50-foot obstacles on final, and not a whole lot of room for error. This is the kind of flying that keeps you sharp.
Man, I love flying all kinds of aircraft. Every one teaches you something different and keeps a different set of skills dialed in—from racing low and fast, to flying high and slow, low and slow, airline operations, aerobatics, and bush flying into short strips like this.
Different airplanes. Different missions. Different challenges.
But at the end of the day, it always comes back to the fundamentals: stick-and-rudder skills come first.
Never stop learning. Never stop sharpening the basics. ✈️🔥

Thank you all for the birthday wishes—I truly appreciate every one of them.
31 years after my very first solo flight, I’m still blessed to be doing what I love most: flying airplanes. Every time I step into the cockpit, I’m reminded how fortunate I am to live this dream. I couldn’t be happier.

What an iconic machine. Tambi Hard to believe this R34 GT-R is already 25 years old. Yet every time you see one, it has an aura that instantly takes you back in time. Some cars come and go, but legends never fade. 🇯🇵🔥
