The Hudson Chair is ready to spin for its season finale on Saturday. 🍂🚡

After that, your next chance to ride it will be when the snow flies! ❄️

Please note: Due to the forecasted weather, the lift will not run this Sunday.

That doesn't mean the fall fun is ending, starting Saturday, September 26th we'll be running the gondola on weekends through Harvest Fest!

As the seasons start to change, so do our Scenic Skyride schedules. Here’s what the next few weeks look like:
🚡 Hudson Chair: Saturday & Sunday, September 12–13 and 19–20
🚡 Northwoods Gondola: Saturday & Sunday, September 26–27, October 3–4, and October 10–11

Join the Gore team! ❄

The Lift Operations Supervisor plays an important role in year-round mountain operations. In addition to overseeing the safe uphill transportation of guests and co-workers, this position is responsible for managing and monitoring lift attendants and operators, working closely with Lift Maintenance, conducting trainings, hiring, and more.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to ski or ride at an intermediate level.

As fall starts to sneak in, there are plenty of opportunities ahead to catch a lift ride and take in views like this! 🍂

This week marks the final days of our summer operating schedule. The Climb N’ Challenge will close after this weekend, while Hudson Chair Scenic Skyrides continue weekends only through September 20.

Then, as the leaves put on their show, Gondola Scenic Skyrides return September 26 – October 11 on weekends. 🍁

As August comes to a close, we’re starting to get those first little hints of fall around the mountain. Cooler mornings, the first signs of changing leaves, and that feeling that a new season is just around the corner. 🍁

Before we get too far ahead of ourselves thinking about winter, there’s still one of our favorite weekends on the horizon! Harvest Fest is coming up quick: October 10 & 11!

The weekend is already stacked with a lineup of new and familiar vendors, live music, and plenty of fall fun! We can’t wait!

The feeling of carving up some corduroy on a crisp morning is unparalleled. 🏂🙌

Got a young rider ready to take their snowboarding to the next level? We still have spots available in our Season Long and 6-Week Snowboard Programs for ages 7–12! With guidance from our instructors, riders will build their skills, gain confidence, make new friends, and have a blast on the mountain all season long.
