All of us here at Chasin Paper Racing ask that you keep our owner and driver John Whisnant in your thoughts and prayers as he gets ready to have a procedure done today. He has been fighting a bad kidney stone for the past week that has started causing more problems. He should be going around 2:30 pm today to have it broke up and removed. We would like to thank each and everyone one of yall for your support and ask that you help lift him up after all of this is over.

Not our night here at Dixie Speedway with the SCDRA series. Both cars looked good in hotlaps and in qualifying but unfortunately in qualifying Spencer Whisnant broke the transmission and John Whisnant’s motor locked down ending our night before it really even got started. It sucks but it’s all part of it. And if y’all would please keep Dustin Holt in your prayers as he was involved in a bad accident here tonight. Once again we thank each and every one of you guys who help us get up and down the road and do what we love. Will update some more through the coming weeks as what will come next.

Spencer Whisnant’s car was spitting and sputtering during qualifying and he never got a good lap and wound up 13th out of 17. But on the other hand Josh Parrish was able to qualify 4th. That is where they will roll off for the feature race here in a little while.

Unloaded and ready to go here at Modoc Speedway with Spencer Whisnant making his Crown Vic debut tonight in the #9 car and we also have Josh Parrish behind the wheel of his #003 car. Will update throughout the night.

Unloaded and ready to go here at Modoc Speedway for the Brian Stewart Memorial race tonight. Spencer Whisnant is behind the wheel of his JFS Trucking #9 Acura Integra. John Whisnant is behind the wheel of his Whisnant and Sons Scrap Metal #71 Acura Integra. And lastly joining us in the #19 C&S Pallets Chevy Cavalier is Ben Barrett. We have hot laps coming up here shortly and heat races to follow with the feature race rounding out our night. Will try and update throughout the night.

Ready to rock and roll here at Sumter Speedway for the SCDRA race. Had an overall good night last night but the results don’t show it. Spencer Whisnant was consistent all night last night until qualifying when a slower car held him up. John got faster every time he went in the track. After time trials last night Spencer went 27th fastest out of 36 cars and John went 28th. Round two of qualifying will be here in a few with b-mains and the a-main to follow later on tonight.

Just not our night. After breaking a transmission in qualifying John wasn’t able to start the feature race. We thrashed on Spencer Whisnant’s car from when he pulled off after qualifying until he went out for the feature trying to solve the cutting out problem. We thought we had it fixed and after going from 9th to 3rd on the start it made one lap and started cutting out again and ended up cutting off causing a DNF. Not the results we were hoping for but we will get if figured out and have a rocket here soon enough.

Once again, huge thank you to everyone who supports us in our passion for racing. Without you guys none of this would be possible.
