Anita has been busy piecing three beautiful quilts, each showcasing a different style of piecing and fabric selection. From rich, modern prints to classic Christmas designs and timeless traditional blocks, it was a joy to help bring each one to the finish line.

The first is Hyde Park by Cotton Stitch Commons. The bold geometric design and richly textured fabrics pair beautifully with Diagonal Plaid, adding subtle structure and texture that complements the clean lines of the quilt.

Next is Yule Tree by Lella Boutique, a festive Christmas quilt filled with cheerful holiday fabrics. Holly & Berries was a natural choice for the quilting, echoing the seasonal theme with flowing holly leaves and berry motifs throughout the tree.

The final quilt is Wishy Wasi by Copper Kettle Quilts, a lovely traditional sampler in warm reds, creams, and taupes. Feather Meander adds soft, elegant texture across the quilt, enhancing the classic blocks while keeping the focus on Anita’s beautiful piecing.

Andrea’s latest projects showcase two very different approaches to quilting. One transforms a single fabric into an intricate winter scene, while the other celebrates the beauty of a well-loved scrap collection.

The first, Silent Knight, is a stunning One Block Wonder quilt. The repeating hexagons transform a single fabric into an intricate wreath of poinsettias, snowflakes, and winter motifs surrounding a majestic deer. We quilted it in Midnight Sparkle, a swirling design that adds movement while letting the striking design remain the focal point.

The second quilt, Anything Goes!, is a vibrant scrap quilt that proves every fabric has a place. Bright prints, colorful triangles, and playful piecing come together in a design that’s full of energy and surprises. Modern Ribbons was a wonderful complement to the lively patchwork, adding flowing texture that enhances the design without competing for attention.

Nella has been busy! She recently finished these two quilts, each showcasing a different style and color palette.

The first was pieced from the Simplish pattern and kit, featuring a striking combination of butterflies, ferns, florals, and bold black sashing that lets every fabric stand out. We quilted it in Butterfly Waltz, a flowing design that complements the botanical theme with soft movement and texture.

The second quilt was inspired by the Missouri Star Quilt Company 3 Dude Quilt tutorial. Soft pinks, aquas, greens, and florals create a fresh, cheerful look. We chose Happy Flowers, quilted in pale blue thread, to add texture that blends beautifully into the quilt while echoing the floral fabrics.

Jeanette made this adorable baby quilt featuring a sweet rocket ship soaring through a sky of colorful stars. ✨

To complement the playful design, we quilted it in Star Shine, adding stars and swirls that echo the theme without taking attention away from the piecing. The quilting brings just the right amount of texture and movement, making it feel like the rocket is gliding through the night sky.

Maggie made this sweet quilt for her young daughter, hoping it will become her forever quilt: the one that stays with her through childhood and beyond. 💕

The soft collection of florals, tiny birds, woodland mice, and whimsical mushrooms creates a storybook feel that’s perfect for little imaginations. To complement those playful prints, we quilted it in Happy Flowers, adding gentle texture that enhances the quilt without overwhelming the fabric.

There’s something extra special about quilting a piece that’s meant to be loved for years to come. I hope this quilt brings comfort, adventures, and happy memories for a lifetime.

Joan pieced these two meaningful T-shirt quilts for a friend who will be donating them to an ALS fundraiser. Each shirt represents years of walking, volunteering, fundraising, and raising awareness in the fight against ALS, making these quilts much more than keepsakes: they’re a celebration of hope, community, and perseverance.

To complement the unique backgrounds and preserve the T-shirt designs, we chose two different quilting patterns. The first quilt features Retro Graphics, adding modern texture without competing with the shirts. The second is quilted with Malachite, whose flowing design creates beautiful movement across the rich autumn-colored background.

It was an honor to help finish quilts that will support such an important cause. Wishing them great success at the fundraiser and hoping they help make a difference in the fight against ALS. 💙

Jan made this cheerful butterfly quilt to be donated to a church fundraiser in South Carolina. The sparkly butterfly fabric catches the light beautifully, adding an extra touch of whimsy to an already bright and happy design.

To complement the fabric, we quilted it with Butterfly Waltz using a variegated pastel thread. The fluttering butterflies in the quilting echo the print while the soft thread blends seamlessly with all of the quilt’s beautiful colors.

Rosie made these two companion quilts: one for herself and one for her husband. While each quilt has its own personality through the different focus fabrics, the shared red, white, and blue color palette ties them together beautifully.

I especially love how the star blocks pop against the bold blue sashing, and the variety of prints gives you something new to notice every time you look. From florals and tiny houses to classic ginghams and patriotic prints, each star has its own character while still feeling part of the whole design.

We quilted both quilts with Midnight Sparkle using a variegated red, white, and blue thread. The subtle stars and swirls add just the right amount of texture, and the changing thread color blends beautifully across all the fabrics.

Two more beautiful quilts from Donna came through the studio.

The first features fabric by her favorite designer, Chong-A Hwang, from the Escapade collection. She was thrilled to find it on sale at Shabby Fabrics and built the quilt around the stunning center panel, adding borders until it reached queen size. The rich blues, dramatic black background, and touches of gold make it such an elegant quilt. We finished it with Butterfly Waltz in gold thread, adding graceful movement that complements the butterflies and florals throughout the design.

The second quilt is for one of Donna’s great-grandchildren and showcases the stack-and-whack technique, where layered fabric is cut to create kaleidoscope-like four-patch blocks. The bold oranges, blacks, and fiery prints create so much warmth and energy. We quilted it with Troubled Seas, whose gentle flowing lines add texture while letting the vibrant fabrics take center stage.

Sue made this cheerful quilt for her daughter, and every detail has a special meaning. After three brain surgeries for a tumor that is still present, her daughter chose a cupcake tattoo simply because it made her happy; it’s a beautiful reminder to find joy in the little things.

Bright colors, playful cupcake prints, and cheerful piecing make this quilt just as uplifting as its inspiration. We finished it with the Cupcakes quilting design, a perfect complement that adds even more sweetness to every block.
