West Norfolk Countryside Ride

Sadly on the 25th of July one of our regular riders, Jenny Green, passed away unexpectedly 4 days after having a fall out riding. Jenny was looked after by a ground ambulance and was taken to hospital by Magpas Air Ambulance.
Jenny’s son says she was at her happiest while riding.
Jenny’s son also mentioned that they didn’t know where she was and had to track her with her phone. I do highly recommend using something like life360 when you go out riding on your own.

At our next ride at Bawdeswell on the 23rd there will be a donation bucket for anyone that would like to donate to the Magpas Air Ambulance.
We are so lucky to have the air ambulance’s especially as horse riders and living in rural areas.

I’ve heard people talking about whether the ground will be too hard for our ride. Our rides like many others aren’t meant to be galloped around , these rides are more away to come together in the countryside on a horse. They are social events where you can amble around some of the best countryside Norfolk has to offer.
Mental health is a big concern at the moment and it’s recognised that horses help with your mental health.
So come and enjoy your horse and being with your friends ❤️

It’s raining! Not much but better than nothing

We had a question as to wheather we allow pony and trap, sadly we don’t but it got me wondering if there are many pony and traps in the area that would want to join a ride?
Maybe we can incorporate a time slot for pony and traps in the future

Bawdeswell ride on the 23rd August at Bawdeswell Hall NR20 4SA. 10 or 6 miles routes with optional jumping. Lead rein route
£25 adults and £20 under 18’s
