Join us for Beach Workout every Wednesday & Friday from 7 - 7:45 a.m. This all-levels community workout combines strength, cardio and core exercises, with the natural resistance of the sand helping you build endurance, balance and overall fitness.

Functional Fit is coming to Lamberts Point Community Center and you are invited 🎉
Join us at Lamberts Point (1251 W. 42nd St) every Monday and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Starting Wednesday Sept 2! Only $30 per month and all fitness levels are welcome.

This full body workout is designed to build strength improve balance increase mobility and make everyday movement feel easier. ✨

📣 Shout out to Akeisha! After making tremendous strides in learning to swim at the City of Norfolk’s Southside Aquatics Center, her fellow community members encouraged her to take on her second-ever triathlon: the RVA Sprint Triathlon in Rockville, VA. In doing so, she inspired City lifeguard Giovanni “Jojo” Johnson and her friend, Paris Hamilton, to join her!

Our seniors enjoyed a fun-filled day at the Active Aging Expo with wonderful exhibitors showcasing their services, inspiring speakers, active chair stretches from our fantastic fitness staff, shared artwork, and so much more. 🎨🧘‍♀️💬
