Fleet Park wins Virginia State Senior Baseball Championship with 11-2 win over Abingdon!!!

This is the third Seniors State championship in 5 years!

Jackson Parker threw a complete game for the win (6H, 2R (1ER), 7K, 3BB). He was backed by solid defensive play by Pfitzner, Fentress, and Newton (amazing catch over the dugout fence). Wells, Howell, and Pfitzner combined for 5 of the team’s 10 hits and they scored 4 runs and drove in 7. With the score tight at 4-2 in top of the 5th, Pfitzner hit a clutch 2 strike, 2 out double that scored 2 and shifted the momentum for good.

Way to go Fleet Park!!

⚾️Jayden Williams pitched a complete game gem giving up only 2 hits, 1 BB, 7 K. Newton and Wells with 2 hits each. Pfitzner, Howell, Dial, and Newton with an RBI each. Great defense all around!
