We’ve been on a bit of a rim brake binge. This Trek Emonda Sl6 came in on a trade in. We tore it apart and rebuilt it and happened to have someone come in looking for a light rim brake bike. It doesn’t get much better than that lol.

Sending this out the door in 2026 was not on our bingo card. Last time we saw one Michael Shipp was putting his together and posting it on YouTube. No electronics, no hydraulics, just good old fashioned cables, rim brakes, and an aero madone frameset. Thanks Jeremiah for letting us put this beauty together and keeping the rim brakes alive!
