Newport Parks and Rec. and the City of Newport would like to thank David and Sally Tryhorne and everyone else that supports the Happy Campers Crew. Over the years they have raised funds to improve Prouty Beach & Campground for everyone. Here are some of the projects the Happy Campers have been a part of:

2020: bought a blackstone griddle
2021: purchased the 3 beautiful swings overlooking the lake
2022: purchased the bench along the bike trail under the willow
2023: supported half of the new Amish shed for event storage
2024: supported the expansion of the laundry room/camp library
2025: purchased 5 red maples for the bluff sites

Unmanned, empty, derelict boat found floating on Lake Memphremagog.
To claim it, describe the boat at the Harbor Master's office, 84 Fyfe Drive, Newport Vt. between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
