We had a great first day of games for our Soccer Tots at RWFC - Peninsula! We loved seeing our little players out on the field today. Thank you to all the families who joined us, and a special thank you to Sunseeker Mobile Coffee Bar for coming out and keeping everyone warm and caffeinated! ⚽️💚☕️

Sunseeker Coffee will be at RWFC this Saturday, September 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Find them in the back right parking lot behind Krispy Kreme and grab a coffee!

RWFC Access Update | Thursday, September 24

We will open at our normal time of 5:00 a.m tomorrow. The hallway and tennis courts will remain closed while additional work is completed. You will not be able to move between the front and back areas of the facility, so please use the entrance for your activity:

🏊 Pool: Enter through the back gate and outside pool door. The back locker rooms and family changing rooms are open.

🏋️ Main gym, cardio, racquetball, weights, and group exercise: Enter through the front entrance. The front locker rooms are open.

The fitness area will be accessible with some limitations. Please follow posted signs. All group exercise classes will run as scheduled.

RWFC Update | Wednesday, Sept. 23

Due to ongoing repairs from yesterday’s weather event and flooding, RWFC will remain closed for the rest of the day.

Our team is working hard to get everything back up and running, and we’ll share updates about the rest of the week as soon as we can.

Facility Update | Wednesday, September 23

RWFC is currently on a delayed opening and will open at 12:00 p.m. today as our team continues to address the impacts of yesterday afternoon’s flooding.

All morning group exercise classes are canceled, and the tennis courts will be closed all day. Please check your email for any updates to the reopening timeline.

RWFC will be open 7:00 AM–1:00 PM on Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day.

Please note:
• All Group Exercise classes are cancelled
• The Nursery will be closed
• The back gates will be closed — please enter through the front entrance

Last call for Soccer Tots! ⚽️

Registration is open and spots are filling fast, with some practice times already full! Our Fall Soccer Tots program starts next week! Ages 3–5 can enjoy weekly practices, Saturday games, and a fun, supportive intro to soccer.

Sign up in person at the front desk of the RWFC in Newport News before space runs out! Call for additional details at 757-875-7525.

Our fun, supportive soccer program for ages 3–5 runs September 7–November 7 with weekly practices and Saturday games.
