🏆 Firecracker War at Williamsburg Recap 🏆

Championship Sunday may have been washed out, but the work was already done.

Our 14U, 15U, and 17U teams finished the Firecracker War at Williamsburg with a combined record of 11-0-1. Three teams. Zero losses.

More important than the record was the way our players competed—with toughness, grit, resilience, and a team-first mentality. They represented Diamonds Edge Baseball Academy with class every time they took the field.

Proud of every player, every coach, and every family who made this weekend possible. Thank you for believing in what we're building.

This isn't the finish line—it's another step toward the standard we expect every time we put on the Diamonds Edge uniform.

Two sides of the same group. Baseball brought us together. We choose to keep it that way.

After not having our best day on Saturday, we didn't divide—we grabbed wings at Ho***rs, talked baseball, laughed, and reflected on what we could learn from it.

I've stayed quiet for a while, but I think our families and supporters deserve to know what we're in the middle of.

There has been some conflict surrounding the situation with our field.

Out of respect for the process currently taking place, I'm not going to get into all of the details right now. There are multiple conversations happening, documentation being reviewed, and facts that need to be fully addressed before I speak publicly on everything.

What I can say is that Diamonds Edge has been involved with this field since 2021. We have invested countless hours, resources, equipment, money, and labor into maintaining and improving it for the benefit of local players and families.

There is much more to the story than most people know. When the appropriate time comes, I will share the facts, the timeline, and the documentation so everyone can understand exactly what has transpired.

Until then, I ask for patience and understanding. My focus remains where it has always been: the players, the families, and continuing to build opportunities for young athletes.

The players have been introduced. The nicknames have been shared. The stories have been told.

Now it's time to introduce the guys who had the privilege of standing beside them.

No shortcuts. No handouts. No excuses.

He's always thinking. Always learning. Always finding a way to help his team win.

Full of smiles. Full of encouragement. The kind of teammate everybody wants beside them.

Every team needs a Carson Weaver.

The guy who keeps everybody loose. The guy who keeps everybody laughing. The guy who makes the dugout better just by showing up.

Carson has a skill that only comes from authenticity.

On the field he's a defensive guarantee.
