Check out this simple but highly effective drill designed to perfect your low driven crosses! Delivering a sharp, precise ball along the ground makes it incredibly difficult for defenders to clear and gives your strikers the perfect chance to tap it in.
📋 How to set it up:
Target Zones: Position two mini-goals in the penalty box right where your striker would typically make their run.
The Pass: The coach or a teammate plays a crisp ball out wide to the winger.
The Ex*****on: The winger is allowed just one touch to set themselves before whipping a low, driven cross into either of the mini-goals.
Why this works: It forces wingers to play with speed, matches game-like pressure, and builds the muscle memory needed to pick out a target in a crowded box.
