Helping athletes process faster, react quicker, and perform under pressure. Not because of effort. Not because of strength.

We specialize in cognitive performance training to bridge the gap between practice and game performance.

More games were not the biggest threat to shooting performance. Mental fatigue was.

In a four-week study involving 15 NCAA Division I basketball players, researchers compared periods of high game volume with periods of high academic stress.

During exam week, athletes recorded:

âś“ 8.3% fewer made shots
âś“ 16.7% more missed shots
âś“ 14.3% fewer completed shooting locations

During the week with the most games, researchers found no significant increase in mental fatigue and no reduction in shooting performance.

The lesson for athletes, parents, and coaches is clear: performance is affected by more than physical workload.

School pressure, poor sleep, travel, emotional stress, meetings, and life outside of sports can increase cognitive load. When that load becomes too high, decision-making, focus, reaction speed, and skill ex*****on may decline.

At ProLevel Performance, we do not only train the body. We assess and develop the cognitive skills athletes rely on when pressure and fatigue are highest.

Sometimes the body is ready, but the brain is the limiting factor.

The pitch was called.

The ex*****on was a fraction late.

Pitchers must process the sign, read the hitter, control the running game, manage tempo, sequence pitches, and repeat their delivery often while fatigue and pressure continue to build.

When processing speed drops, timing changes.

The release point drifts.
Command becomes inconsistent.
Mechanics begin to break down.
One missed location can change the entire at-bat.

Pitching is more than velocity.

It requires focus, decision-making, body control, reaction speed, and the ability to execute under pressure.

Train the brain behind the throw.

Your gift is not random.
It was given to you for a reason.

But talent alone is not enough.
You have to train it. Build it. Test it. Push it past comfort.

The ones who separate themselves are not always the most gifted.

They are the ones who find what they have, commit to it, and refuse to let it sit unused.

Find your gift. Run it into the ground.

We all understand that the body gets tired.

But most athletes, parents, and coaches still overlook this:

The brain gets tired too.

And when cognitive fatigue builds, performance changes.

Reaction time slows.
Focus drops.
Decision-making gets worse.
Reads are missed.
The athlete starts making mistakes that look like effort problems, skill problems, or confidence problems.

But many times, it is a brain endurance problem.

That is why I train more than the body.

At ProLevel Performance, we measure and train the brain side of athletic performance vision, reaction, focus, decision-making, cognitive stamina, and brain-health awareness.

Because if we can measure it, we can train it.

And if we train it, athletes can handle more when the game speeds up.

Train the athlete.
Protect the brain.
Raise the ceiling.

Sports vision training works best when it transfers to the game.

Not just dots on a screen.

Not just eye drills.

Athletes need to train vision in context:

Track the ball.
Read movement.
Process space.
Make decisions.
React at game speed.

That is where vision becomes performance.

06/03/2026

Physical training builds the athlete.
Cognitive training expands the athlete’s capacity.

At some point, getting stronger, faster, and more conditioned is not enough.

The game still speeds up.
Pressure still hits.
Fatigue still changes decisions.
Reaction time still matters.
Focus still breaks.

That is where cognitive training separates athletes.

It is not about doing more reps.
It is about handling more information, more pressure, more speed, and more fatigue without performance dropping.

Because the best athletes are not just physically prepared.

They can process faster.
React cleaner.
Stay locked in longer.
Make better decisions when tired.

That is the next ceiling.

And that is what we train at ProLevel Performance.

Train the body. Raise the brain. Change the ceiling.

Baseball training has changed.

For years, hitters trained the swing.

Tee work.
Batting practice.
Mechanics.
Strength.

And all of that still matters.

But the next level of hitting is not just about the swing.

It is about what the hitter sees before the swing ever starts.

Elite hitters separate themselves by how early they pick up the ball, how fast they recognize spin, and how quickly they decide: swing or take.

That is why vision is a major piece of modern player development.

Research has estimated that the average professional baseball player sees around 20/12, while college players are often closer to 20/15. Normal vision is considered 20/20.

That matters.

Because hitting is not just physical.

It is visual.
It is cognitive.
It is reaction-based.
It is decision-making under pressure.

At ProLevel Performance, we train athletes to:

âś… Track the ball earlier
âś… Recognize pitch type and spin
âś… Improve reaction speed
âś… Build better hand-eye coordination
âś… Process information faster
âś… Make better swing decisions

The goal is simple:

See faster.
Decide faster.
Hit better.

The swing matters.

But you cannot hit what you do not see.

Your athlete can say they’re fine.
Their nervous system may say something different.

This is why we test.

Same athlete. Same day.
Before the session, contact time was 98 ms.
After the training load, it jumped to 125 ms.

That is a +27 ms change in how long the finger stayed on the screen during the task.

Reaction time slowed.
Accuracy dropped.
Speed dropped.
Variation increased.

But the key signal is this:

Contact time is hard to fake.

The athlete is not choosing how long their finger stays on the screen. It is a nervous system output. That makes it one of the most honest ways to see fatigue, readiness, and cognitive load.

At ProLevel Performance, we do not just train athletes to be stronger or faster.

We train the system that controls reaction, decision-making, focus, and performance under fatigue.

Because late in the game, the athlete who can still process, react, and execute has the advantage.

The tap duration does not lie.

DM "READY" if you want to see what your athlete’s nervous system is really showing.
