Think of it this way: when your shoulders collapse into internal rotation during a push-up, you lose muscle recruitment, reduce your range of motion and place a lot of stress on the shoulder joint. Over time, that added stress can increase the risk of injury.

Most functional movements are strongest and safest with the shoulders in a stable, externally rotated position, including push-ups, dips, wall balls, and overhead pressing. Proper positioning doesn’t just protect your shoulders - it helps produce more power and support from surrounding muscle groups! 💪🏼

Pursue the pursuit, not just the finish line.

Sometimes the growth isn’t found in completing the workout. It’s found in who you become while chasing it! 😅
