Sometimes the best stories are the ones you never planned.

After Mother Nature changed the weekend schedule, the Atlanta Vipers 2031 - Martinez Crew made a last-minute pivot and entered the USSSA Tournament of Champions, playing UP in the 14U division.

And as this team has shown… age brackets don’t define who they are. This group continues to prove they have the confidence, determination, and ability to compete with anyone, anytime, anywhere.

The tournament didn’t start the way they envisioned, but this squad stayed together, trusted the process, and flipped the script. From game three forward, they found another gear, battling their way into the Gold Bracket, earning a spot in the championship game, and finishing the weekend exactly where they belonged… bringing home the hardware.

Congratulations to this team for overcoming adversity, supporting one another, and proving once again that the Vipers mentality shows up no matter the opponent or age division.

After a last minute change when the PGF Super Select 12U Championship was canceled due to weather, we jumped into the USSSA Tournament of Champions and played up in the 14O division.
The day started slow, and we dropped our first two pool games despite having opportunities to win. But in game three, everything clicked. We played with grit, heart, and for each other. Every player contributed and stepped up when it mattered most.
We battled our way into the Gold Bracket, earned a spot in the championship game, and finished as champions!🏆🥇
Proud of this team for overcoming a tough start and supporting one another every step of the way. 🐍💪

This weekend, we’re heading to Columbia, TN to compete in the PGF Super Select 12U Championship! 💪🔥 One of the biggest tournaments of our season, featuring top teams from across the country. Ready to compete, battle hard, and make memories together. Let’s go! 🐍
