Congratulations to the 2026 John R. Brennan Scholarship recipients! 🎓

On August 18th, the Standardbred Owners Association of New York and Yonkers Raceway awarded $23,000 in combined scholarships to four students in the harness racing community: Max Keppler, Joshua Holland, Addison Gingras and Jaiden Gingras.

Named in honor of longtime horse trainer and SOA of NY field representative John Brennan, the annual scholarship supports members of the harness racing community and their families as they pursue higher education.

Congratulations to this year’s recipients as they continue their education and carry forward the strong legacy of New York harness racing!
