10 things I've learned from losing 135+ pounds

If you lost 1 pound per week, how many weeks would it take you to hit your goal?
1. Starting over every Monday. If I slip up, I give myself no more than 24hrs to get back on track.
2. Trying to eat as little as possible. I focus on eating as much food as I can fit into my calorie target.
3. Cheat days. If I want something, I eat it, and fit it into my calories.
4. Earning my food with cardio. This cycle kept me stuck for years. If I eat over my goal, I eat a bit less the next few days. No burning it off.
5. Calling foods good or bad. If I want to eat something that's not the healthiest, I make sure it fits my calories and it doesn't make up the bulk of daily nutrition.
6. Letting the scale decide my mood. The number on the scale will fluctuate even if you do everything right. Keep moving forward.
7. Waiting for motivation. Motivation follows action, not the other way around
