From George & Danniel ❤️
We can’t wait to welcome everyone to the new Axis this Friday and Saturday for our first public event since rebuilding.
After months of blood, sweat, tears, and an incredible amount of community support, we’re back.
These photos offer a glimpse of our new universally designed home in East Harlem—a place where people with disabilities and older adults can move, create, connect, and belong.
While we’ve come a long way, we’re still building.
We’re actively fundraising to complete several key spaces, including:
✨ The Adaptive Design & Fabrication Lab
📚 The People’s Library for Disability Justice, Universal Design, Health & Wellness
🎙️ The Media Lab for Gaming, Podcasting & Digital Storytelling
Join us this Friday and Saturday for Trails for All, our first public event in the new space. See what we’ve created together—and help us imagine what’s next from Town Hall’s to Comed show’s, creative workshops and parties. We’re ready to collaborate.
