please throw ass responsibly
strength | if you’re flexible, create tension in the stretch and earn the contraction.
flexible lifters often have to be more intentional. if the goal is glute growth, don’t just move farther *slow down, maintain position, and keep tension* where you want adaptation.

human | i was called sensitive growing up. for a long time i believed that meant i needed thicker skin.
so i did what a lot of people do..
i disconnected
i intellectualized
i became less expressive
i tried to become unaffected
but sensitivity was never the thing hurting me..
lack of boundaries was
lack of trust in myself was
lack of structure was
today i don’t see sensitivity as weakness, i see it as information.
if your sensitivity was ever weaponized against you or made you feel like you were too much..
.this slide is for you 🤍
leadership starts at home 😅

human | the women who want men to open up are sometimes the same women who use it against them when they do.
not out of cruelty but sometimes out of fear, sometimes out of habit, sometimes out of unhealed places that don’t know what to do with someone else’s softness.
june is men’s mental health month and i want to talk about our part..
if you’ve ever:
-lost attraction the moment he cried
-brought up something he trusted you with during a fight
-shared his struggles as entertainment or gossip
-pulled away when he needed presence instead of solutions
pause..because maybe you didn’t mean harm but impact teaches lessons and sometimes the lesson becomes:
don’t say that again.
don’t show that again.
handle it alone.
we cannot ask men to evolve and then punish vulnerability when it shows up imperfectly.
vulnerability is not weakness to manage.
it’s trust being extended.
what we do with that trust shapes whether people feel safe enough to offer it again and this is the work too.
not just saying emotional openness matters but becoming someone another human being can actually be human around is what safety and real change looks like.

clarity | these photos are two years apart.
the first was taken after my last competition in 2024.
the second was taken today.
i stepped away from the stage to do something many competitors struggle to do: spend time building.
like so many women in bodybuilding, glutes remained my primary focus.
what i learned is that high-volume training and less food will never build the shape most people are chasing.
time.
recovery.
progressive overload.
proper programming.
and enough food.
those are the things that built these results.
for years, i overtrained and wondered why my body wasn’t changing.
when training becomes an emotional outlet, it’s easy to mistake doing more for making progress - more sets, more exercises, more cardio, more days in the gym.
but bodies are built during recovery, not exhaustion.
muscle is built when you give it a reason to grow and the resources to do it.
to achieve this shape, i had to let go of three things i was convinced would hurt my progress:
• more rest days
• less training volume
• more food
ironically, those were the exact things i needed.
understanding the body means understanding that more is not always better.
sometimes the hardest thing to do is less..
.and sometimes less is exactly what produces the results you’ve been chasing. 🤍

the pattern I’m seeing everywhere:
real issue → amplified threat perception → loss of context → emotional certainty
