CHAMPIONSHIP GAME TONIGHT

#2 Swashbucklers vs #5 Franchise

Dont't miss the finale of NYC's Premier Fast Pitch League tonight at the Berry Homes Complex in Staten Island , NY starting at 7pm

Swashbucklers will send their Ace Nicolai Suarez to the mound to face the always dangerous Franchise offense and the two headed monster pitching duo of Joe Pezzella and Alfi Ramos.

In Semi Final action , Swashbucklers defeated last year's Champs Stafford Exterminators and Franchise topped the #1 seed High Rise Bullies. Both series went the distance and included extra inning thrillers.

Semi Finals Action begins tonight at the Berry Homes Complex , Staten Island starting at 7 pm.

Tonight's match up features the #1 seed High Rise Bullies taking on the # 5 seed Franchise.

Monday night will be the # 2 seed Swashbucklers taking on the # 3 seed Defending Champion Stafford Exterminators.

Franchise defeated Brooklyn Storm and Stafford defeated BlueClaw in RD 1 to advance.

2017 Alexa Rose NYC Memorial Day Invitational

Sixteen Teams from all over the Northeast made their annual Memorial Day Weekend trip to Linden NJ ' s Memorial Park for the Alexa Rose NYC Memorial Day Invitational run by Team Swashbuckler from Staten Island , NY.

After a day of bracket battling on Sat , and a day of do or die ball all day Sunday , it was Team WSD ( We Stay Dirty ) emerging to the top winning the Gold Bracket Championship over Team Player's Choice.

Team 29ers won the Silver Bracket Championship 9 - 8 in dramatic walk off fashion over Team Brewers.

Most Valuable Pitcher- Manny Aracena WSD
Best Defensive Player Award- AJ Wagner WSD

2017 Alexa Rose Memorial Day Invitational

Team Rainbow and Team Street Fam squared off Friday night under the lights to officially christen the annual tournament.

The tournament will run all day Saturday and Sunday at Memorial Park in Linden , NJ

So whether your a team interested in joining the action next year or a fan of the game , Come to Memorial Park this weekend ,relax and enjoy full concessions while watching this year's talented 16 team pool battle it out over two days for the chance to play in the tournament's Gold and Silver Championship Games on Sunday.

Literally with a Boom , the 2017 Alexa Rose Memorial Day Invitational exploded into action with their traditional Home Run Derby Friday night at Memorial Park in Linden , NJ.

Hosted by Team Swashbuckler , the tournament continues to draw the top teams in the neighboring areas, solidifying it's reputation as one of the biggest and best Modified Tournaments in the North East.

Boomer Esiason Foundation Men's Softball Tournament

South Beach Fields 5 and 6

Organized by John Kurshner from Staten Island , New York, the Boomer Esiason Foundation Men's Softball Tournament inaugural year was an out the gate success that is only going to get bigger and better as it catches on fire around the NYC Softball community.

Eight teams from the Metro Area answered the call with their gloves and bats to raise $$ for the Foundation to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Despite it being a rainy afternoon , Mr Kurshner , the players , umpires and fans alike, all trudged on to see the tournament finished to completion.

In the Final game , it was Team Alexa Rose taking home the trophy with a 4 - 0 win over the Brooklyn Brewers. Winning pitcher Sean Hynes and Mike Viggy were named the Co-MVPs of the tournament.

Team Franchise rang the bell on the new season by defeating Player's Choice 16 - 6 to win the 2017 Michael Francis Memorial ShootOut, a Fast Pitch Sling Tournament held in Linden NJ. The tournament is run by Team Swashbuckler and attracts many of the best teams in the Tri State area and beyond.

2016 Alexa Rose Memorial ASA Majors CHAMPIONS

NYC's top Fast Pitch league, ASA Majors has it's third different champion since the league's reopening. Stafford nipped Swashbucklers 4-3 in game one and pulled away 6-2 in game two to secure the 2016 Title.

2016 ALL Star Game

NYC's top fast pitch league took a small break from the in tenseness of their week to week competitive match ups and took the field for the first ASA Majors All Star Game since its reopening by Commissioner John Gino Jr.

Rivals played side by side and teammates against each other in the fun filled nine inning contest.

High Rise Bullies pitcher Danny Cornwell was voted the games MVP for his 3.1 innings of no hit ball to start the game.

The game was umpired by long time league supporters Brian Meisner and Pete Riveria.

League action continues this Wed with only three teams remaining. Defending Champion High Rise Bullies lead a Semi-Finals Series 1-0 vs Stafford Exterminators. Swashbucklers won their series and await the winner to play in the 2016 Championship Series.
