C’mon BASL! Let’s kickoff PRIDE weekend at CitiField for Mets Pride Friday June 26th at the Coca Cola section. Game time starts at 7:10pm. The 1st 15,000 fans in attendance can get a Mets Pride sleeveless jersey. Hope to see you there!

In 1977, BASL began with 12 teams, each sponsored by and named after iconic West Village bars: Badlands, Boot Hill, Kelly’s, Crossroads, Eagle’s Nest, Boots and Saddles, Nickle Bar, Numbers, Ramrod, Spike’s, Wildwood and Ty’s. Ty’s is the only one of those legendary bars still standing.

This Saturday, May 16th, Ty’s and Ty’s Jesters will open its doors for BASL.

Ty’s is a cozy establishment therefore we will be looking to do a co-event in the area. More details to come and if you are in the area, stop by and celebrate an important part of BASL history.

Happy *50th Season* BASL.
What began as a 12 team league in 1977 has grown into a two conference league with 7 divisions, 35 teams and over 700 players. 50 seasons is a major accomplishment and we could not have done it without all of you. As cliche as it is, we stand on the shoulders of so many that came before us and we extend our hands to raise those coming after us. 50 years of community and counting and the rest is still unwritten. Have an amazing season!

Please join us on Friday, April 17th at Monster Bar for one of two Opening Parties. The Manhattan Monster Bar will host us at the lower level from 6pm - 10pm. Mocktails & Cocktails, DJ, drag show hosted by Patty McGroin at 7pm DQT, and a raffle for the Axe DISTURBANCE 26oz end-loaded USA softball bat retailing for $319.99 (all proceeds will go towards BASLs 50th Anniversary celebrations in 2027).
