Last week, festival vibes filled the air as ouCampAPaloozaght the ultimate excitement with Camp-A-Palooza, and these incredible coaches brought all the festival hype, steady leadership, and unmatched camp spirit!

From developing the core sport of the week, volleyball, for all levels to setting up camp relay challenges, helping campers craft personalized memory books, and even managing the huge Campers Quest Game Show, this crew kept the momentum going strong every single day.

Being the last week of camp for so many of our summer camp locations, shoutout to this standout team for leading by example and making Camp-A-Palooza and Summer Camp 2026 an unforgettable success! 🧡

Camp-A-Palooza brought festival energy to camp all week long. 🎉

Volleyball led the way as Sport of the Week, campers got creative with tie-dye and summer scrapbooks, and every location had its own way of making the week feel huge. Boundless Adventures took campers into the treetops, the Bubble Show brought plenty of wide-eyed reactions, Silent Disco turned up the energy, and the Game Show had teams thinking fast and cheering even louder.

For many of our camp locations, this was their final week of Summer Camp 2026, and it was packed with the kind of moments that define a Kids in the Game summer! Trying something new, showing up for your team, getting creative, and making memories with friends.

Next up: Pokémon Party Week ⚡️And Greenpoint is keeping the camp energy going. One more week of challenges, teamwork, creativity, and plenty of trainer energy before Summer Camp 2026 officially comes to a close. 🧡

Last week, our camps rewound the clock for a totally rad Retro Week, and these incredible coaches brought all the throwback energy, steady leadership, and unmatched camp spirit! 🕶️⚡

From leading high-energy wiffle ball practice and classic camp games to helping campers craft awesome 80's and 90's DIY lava lamps and mini boomboxes, this crew kept the hype high every single day. They also led our off-site field trips, expertly managing separate camper groups across multiple locations simultaneously! 🚌📍

Huge shoutout to this standout team for leading by example and making Totally Retro Week a success! 📻🏆

Kids in the Game's Professional Development offerings are built around situations that school teams actually manage every day, with hands-on sessions focused on topics like Recess, Field Days, and Active Supervision.

The goal is simple. Give staff practical tools they can use immediately, create more consistency across the team, and help everyone feel better prepared heading into the school year. Retro Week might officially win field trip week of all field trip weeks. 🎢🦒🌊

Campers spent the week leaning into old-school summer fun, with wiffle ball, throwback music, Creative Club, classic games, and plenty of chances to get into the Retro Week spirit.

The adventures outside camp were just as big. Older campers took on Nickelodeon Universe and Luna Park, while younger campers explored the Bronx Zoo and the aquarium. Back at camp, the week kept the same nostalgic energy with old-school games, team moments, and plenty of fun built into every day. Retro Week gave campers so many ways to move, explore, create, and make memories with their friends.

For most of our camps, next week brings Camp-A-Palooza, with all-sports energy, camp favorites, spirit days, mini-tournaments, and one big final-week celebration. We are going out with plenty left in the tank. 👀
