To those who have shown interest and/or are returning chess players, REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for the fall season of Westbrook Chess Club. If you have not found us on Facebook yet, please go over to Westbrook Chess Club and follow our page for updates and to catch videos and pictures of our journey as the FIRST Chess Club being offered to the youth of Muncie, Indiana.
Our first summer program was a great success! Amazing players!!

We are excited to open new registrations for our Fall Chess Club! To register please use this email to request registration forms and to address any concerns you may have moving forward. If you need scholarship information, please be sure to add this to the options within the application. We have 9 slots available for those who may need assistance.

We are excited and highly anticipate an amazing Fall season with Westbrook Chess Club members! ALL levels are welcome! Ages 9-18 are encouraged to register soon! Slots are limited as well as scholarships! Discounted rates will also be an option for those who show need. We are also seeking youth who are homeschooled for our special time slots! Let us know your desired schedule and we will work with you!!

Westbrook Chess Club thanks all of our biggest supporters and families who showed up for our youth this summer! We are grateful for the opportunity to serve the Muncie youth using the important and life-changing game of Chess! A special shout out to The Family Resource Center (Roy C. Buley Center) for allowing our youth to end their summer with a great location and a fun creative Rock Painting collaboration. It is our hope to continue to partner with you all going forward! We appreciate everything you all have contributed to the success of Westbrook Chess Club! Thank you!

We started Westbrook Chess Club program for the Muncie Community Youth on June 11th, and now approaching our final week of the Summer- these children have surpassed all our expectations! Sometimes children learn their best moves by losing to those who are more advanced while the more advanced players learn from teaching the beginners. (It's amazing to witness)

Westbrook Chess Club will expand its services into the Fall 2026 in partnership with ArtRize Community Center and The Family Resource Center (Roy C. Buley Center). Watch for more updates and join us as we continue to make a positive impact on the youth of Muncie!

Stop by on Thursday July, 23rd at the Family Resource Center, for our end of summer celebration- Blitz Tournament, Award Ceremony and player recognition event. Refreshments will be served!
