Love this custom blue Continuum AR

This is a Medici pista w/ its new owner Rose McShane . Rose has been a customer & friend since before the days of Continuum Coffee on Ave B. She was a permanent fixture at the cafe —where she basically had her own counter. She worked on her art religiously there almost every day. We became close with her & before long she was our friend, & is still in our lives to this day.
She just had a birthday & wanted to get herself something she’s has always wanted. Her dream bike: A vintage steel lugged track bike . Finding one that she loved & actually fit her has been difficult, but she did it!
Her first track bike at 70! So cool.. it’s set up as a single speed w/ clamp-on keirin brakes. Since this is a true track/pista frame. Looks great & Rides great.
I love the bike & it’s a super smooth ride . Happy belated & enjoy your new ride Rose! We love you ❤️

Roll-down gate, early years of Continuum Cycles 07’-08’

This Orange custom build was made for a customer who told me he wanted two identical bikes in fully 1 for each of his residences.

“I want my bikes to be completely Omaha Orange.”

After a little friendly negotiation, we found that the bikes would look best with a bit of contrast. The frame set & rims were painted Orange, creating a bike that was definitely personal to the customer & also hard to miss.

Some builds stay with you long after they leave the shop. This was definitely one of them.:)

Yesterday I attended Josh Smith’s Destiny closing show. Hosted by David Zwirner & Bicycle Film Festival. Thank you for the invite! I had a good time & met up with folks I haven’t seen in a while.
