Egor Dรซmin is putting on an absolute clinic this summer. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ˜ค

Consistently dropping 20+ points while filling up the entire stat sheet with boards, assists, and defensive stops. The young prospect is showing elite, three-level scoring ability.

The Brooklyn Nets have waived guard Malachi Smith, making him an unrestricted free agent. ๐Ÿ‘€

A surprising move.

Smith shot an impressive 43.5% from three last season but appeared in only 15 games for Brooklyn.

With his ability to space the floor, don't be surprised if another team gives him a chance.

Reliable shooting is always in demand across the league.

He could be a sneaky pickup for a contender. ๐ŸŽฏ

Mikel Brown Jr. hasnโ€™t played much yet.

But every glimpse has shown why the Nets believed he was worth the No. 6 pick.

๐Ÿ”ธ Explosive first step

๐Ÿ”ธ Confident shot creation

๐Ÿ”ธ Advanced court vision

๐Ÿ”ธ Poised decision-making

Even while working his way back from a back injury and playing limited minutes, Brown has continued to flash the talent that made him one of the top guards in his draft class.

The stats will come.

For now, itโ€™s the flashes that should have Nets fans excited about whatโ€™s ahead.

Brooklyn may have found its point guard of the future.

Michael Porter Jr. could be on the move again. ๐Ÿ‘€

If he and the Brooklyn Nets can't agree on a contract extension, MPJ is expected to be traded before the season, per Brian Lewis.

That would be a huge mistake.

Porter is coming off a career year, proving he can be one of the league's premier scoring forwards when healthy.

The Nets finally have a player entering his prime who can be a cornerstone for the franchise.

Brooklyn should do everything it can to keep him.

Players like MPJ don't come around often. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Egor Demin is turning heads in Summer League.

The game is slowing down.
The reads are sharper.

That's usually the first sign of a sophomore breakout.

If this carries into the regular season...

Don't be surprised if Demin's name starts popping up in Most Improved Player conversations.

The foundation is there.

Now it's about putting it together over 82 games.

Egor Demin doesn't hide his flaws. That raw honesty is helping the Nets sophomore guard turn his early weaknesses into major strengths this summer.๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ”ฅ

Egor Demin looks like a completely different player this summerโ€ฆand Brooklyn Nets fans should be excited.

After struggling to score inside as a rookie, the 20-year-old made one thing his top priority this offseason:

The weight room.

Demin says he's added 13-15 pounds of muscle, focusing on nutrition, strength training, and becoming more aggressive attacking the basket.

"The lifting room was probably the biggest priority."

And the results are already showing.

๐Ÿ”ธ23.0 PPG
๐Ÿ”ธ55.6% shooting
๐Ÿ”ธ11-for-12 on two-pointers

For comparison, Demin went just 1-for-4 from two-point range during all of Summer League last year.

Nets Summer League coach Dutch Gaitley summed it up perfectly:
"The biggest difference is his ability to get into the paint and into two-point range."

Head coach Jordi Fernandez also noticed the transformation:
"He looks more like a grownup."

Year 2 might be the season where Egor Demin turns potential into a real breakout.

Julius Randle still hasn't officially become a member of the Brooklyn Nets. ๐Ÿ‘€

The blockbuster four-team trade involving Randle remains incomplete...and there's a specific reason why Randle's arrival is still on hold.

Find out what's delaying the deal ๐Ÿ”—๐Ÿ‘‡
