ID please? Thought this one was pretty. Like an art deco style salad dressing jar.

As you can see by the two absolute beauties your eyes are glued on, yesterday was an incredibly, outstanding and absolutely amazing day mudlarking in the river... Wow.. SMH... Both local!! 👀
Left, Aqua-green, Star City Bottling Works. Lafayette Indiana. Bottler, Henry W. Gagen, Lafayette, Indiana. Root Glass, Terre Haute, Indiana. Number to the left of Root, 1334, to the right, date of manufacture 1912.

Right, aqua, Bohrer Bottling Works, Lafayette Indiana. Extra thick glass. No date of manufacture located on bottle.

Picked up this beauty today for $5. Any ideas on how old?
First photos is in more natural light, second to show the pontil scar, and third is the glow under uv. Some nice air bubbles in this one, and I love the colour (amethyst?) and weight. The imperfection in the should is neat too, almost like a tiny dent inside the glass. How old do you think it is?

Nice 1900-1910 Ball jar from the riverbank
I got lucky today and saw this one imbedded into the riverbank today. It is a 1900-1910 Ball jar with a really nice almost greenish color and some very cool bubbles. Usually when I find these they have small chips in the lip or they show a lot of wear from being used over and over, but this one is in very nice condition.

I’m Nearly in Shock
I’m nearly in shock. Today’s dig behind where a pioneer-era bottling works once stood in Grand Forks, North Dakota. We tunneled ten feet under a garage. I didn’t do an official count but we pulled hundreds of Hutchinson-style soda bottles including one that was previously unknown from the Bismarck Bottling Works and another from George Braune’s Bottling Works of Jamestown, Dakota Territory. We’ve likely pulled 800 Hutchinson bottles off of this lot.

Hutchinson bottles were in use in North Dakota from 1879-1912. The bottles were marked from bottling operations across the upper Midwest. The entire excavation was filmed and will be available for viewing on my YouTube channel (Lost Horizons). I’ll post a link in the comments.
