Always a joy to dance for this community!

While Easter has passed, the joy is still very much alive in our hearts. ✨ It was such a gift to dance during Holy Week at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, NYC and The Church of the Village - a radically inclusive, anti-racist community. We are so grateful to share in these meaningful moments of worship with all who joined us in song, dance, and in spirit—your presence made these services truly special. 💜

Check out this photo of Omega founder Carla De Sola working with Jose Limon as a Juilliard dance student in 1959! Carla credits her study with Limon as one of the experiences that inspired her to more deeply explore the connection between spirituality and art, eventually leading her to found Omega.

Omega dancer and director Martha Chapman and Charles Epps, former Ailey dancer and member of St. Malachy's will offer dance as part of a Mass celebrating Black History Month. Committed to racial justice through harmony and the arts, Charles is part of the Sacred Dance Guild and The Trinity Movement Choir, and is an educator and choreographer.
Join them now on Sunday, MARCH 1st from 11am-12pm at St. Malachy's - The Actors' Chapel.
