A Look Back on a Pandemic Year with MKD — Maya Kite and Dancers This year has been so difficult and so strange for everyone. I remember in early March of 2020 being in the studio working on a piece that was set to premiere in a couple months, getting completely side tracked from rehearsal by talking about the history of modern dance and the legacy left us by the
MKD is so excited to have produced a collaborative work with vocalist Sarah Killough. In this piece, we explore the way memories rise to the surface. At the end of a year that has left us constantly refering to the before and after the pandamic began, we capture a moment of remembering the before. The full video will be in your feeds soon!
