Last week, we hosted our 2026 Inspire Scholarship Summer Ceremony! 🎓 💙

We welcomed 20 new scholars to the Inspire Scholarship family and celebrated our 2026 college graduates. Our newest scholars were surprised with brand-new MacBooks to support them throughout college, while our college graduates received AirPods to commemorate this exciting milestone.

From games and great food to reconnecting with fellow scholars and alumni, it was a wonderful event celebrating a wonderful community. A huge thank you to our Board Members who joined us, to Slate NY for being the perfect venue, and to Jason Negron for being the best host year after year!

A special day in the Bronx 🏀✨

In partnership with the New York Knicks and NBA Cares, we celebrated the opening of a newly renovated game room at the Police Athletic League NYC Webster Center, made possible through a Garden of Dreams Community Enrichment Grant as part of the 2026 New York Knicks NBA Finals Legacy Project.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony, emceed by Knicks play-by-play announcer Tyler Murray, featured remarks from NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, PAL CEO Carlos Velazquez, Knicks Legend John Starks, and PAL youth Kameron. Knicks legends Larry Johnson, Latrell Sprewell, Marcus Camby, Walt "Clyde" Frazier, and Allan Houston joined Knicks City Dancers, the 7th Ave Squad, and community leaders, including Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson, to celebrate this exciting new space for local young people. 💙🧡
