Most beginners who start thwir strength training journey have been taught to do pushups the wrong way. Pushups are one of th BEST upper body strength and toning exercise. In fact it also works your core muscles! This is a great way to do pushups on yiur knees and infact get more muscle activation. Now if you are unable to do on yoir knees i want yoi to comment āmodification neededā and i will make another modification for a level below.
Most women come to me for toning up stubborn areas, improving their lifestyle, and getting unstuck so they can move forward towards feeling and being more confident in their lives. One of the key exercises I see in the gym is everyone doing back squats with the bar or body weight squats. Now background story I too use to be a frequent back squatter. In fact, my back squats was in matched when it came to form, technique, intensity and frequency. However, when I asked most women why they want to do the back squats, or double meg squats- I get this āI want to tone up and build and target my hips, my glutes, and my inner thighs. Furthermore, when i dug deeper into the conversation I often heard āisnāt squat the best exerciseā and I when I took it further by asking why donāt you do split squats, stationary lunges or even single leg squats.. this is what I got- āsquats (double leg squat is better then single meg/ split squatā obviously this is due to many reasons why the average gym goer thinks that way. However, it couldnāt be further than the truth. A split squat, single leg squat, even a stationary lunge is far better than a double leg squat when it comes to more bang for the buck, muscle tension, muscle activation, toning and sculpting. Its literally hundreds of women who go through a saggy butt or also known as the "Dormant butt syndrome" its when your glute muscle is dormant- inactive- and needs to be activated through specific exercises with a specific approach. This is an example of how we designed a long stance variation to hit the glute muscle and lower body from a different angle.

We live in a world that limits us from truly becoming who we want to be. These limitations are based on experiences of others, their failures and their own faith and confidence. Only to impose ceilings on our own goals, growth, and happiness. Itās starts with a ātgifā is one of the biggest express to heard when I was younger. And I adopted that expression only to feel temporary relief and happiness and to feel down and depressed on Monday. But I adopted that because I heard it in an elevator full of people with down faces. This is just one example. Itās when we actually realize that we are run by our external environment. The magic lies in our internal environment and thought process and the state we are in at all times. This gives birth to having the balls the courage to embark on a self transformation journey the first workout and the first chapter or one of the first chapter in my book! After 21 years of coaching roughly I will put down in my book everything and more for this world to learn from on how to truly create a fit, confident, strong and happy life.
