Hey everyone, we hope your summer is going well.

I know things come up and slow us down at times but we are seeing a trend in people showing up late for class. Please know that if class starts at 11:00 then everyone needs to be on the mats ready to bow in and get going.

Ideally you've even have some time to get a little loose, review something with a friend, or just talk for a minute.

We also have one bathroom to change in so that can slow things down too.

If no one shows up by 11:15 I am instructing the staff to leave, since it is too late too teach a proper class at that time and apparently no one will be attending.

I apologize for any previous confusion and look forward to helping everyone reach their goals.

We think by now everyone knows how great these platforms can be but we recognize that they can be hard to break free from - let's face it, they are designed to keep you there longer than you may have planned. And they can be toxic.

With that we are sending a monthly News Letter to keep you up to date at the Academy. These newsletters will also include health and fitness tips along with weekly recipes that meet various dietary and life goal guidelines.

We all know how great it is but we all get sucked in. And that sucks - no pun intended lol.

As a business not much sounds better that FREE advertising and FREE online communities but it's not really free, is it. If you don't know what the Product is, then it's YOU.

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu NY will continue to use social platforms in the most minimal of ways, but our main focus will be to use it as a funnel for our upcoming News Letter.

News Letter?! That's so 2002. Yeah, we're going backwards. Old School. Or, are we progressing?

We have lots to share with you and we hate that we have to bring you to a "room" where all the bright lights and flashy signs keep you emotionally trapped longer than you planned.

Sometimes I feel like the Socials are a Casino that gives you $25 in free chips because they know you won't leave until you've lost tons of your own money. Money you might not have spent otherwise.

So to support the life choices you might want to make, we are paying to send you the information that you want and stuff we'd love to share, and not making you pay.

We'll post more here as we remove ourselves but since we're both here now anyway, please comment below. We'd LOVE to hear your thoughts on this move.
