T. Kang Taekwondo

GM T. Kang was recently in Bangkok, Thailand promoting GM Don Ferguson to the prestigious rank of 9th Dan black belt.

In addition, on behalf of the Official Taekwondo Hall of Fame, he presented GM Ferguson with a “Lifetime Achievement” induction award for his outstanding contributions to the art of Taekwondo. GM Ferguson’s Asian Pacific Taekwondo Academy is considered to be the premier martial arts school in all of Thailand.

Besides actively running his school, he is a producer, actor, action consultant for over 25 years on films like Ong-Bak and is involved in multiple charities, including teaching under privileged children for the past 20 years. He will also be playing a major role as one of the leaders of the ITBA (International Taekwondo Black Belt Association).

Grandmaster T. Kang was invited as a special guest by the promoters of the US Open Championships in Orlando, Florida July 2-4, 2026.
The U.S. Open ISKA World Martial Arts Championships is the premiere event in global open martial arts, annually drawing thousands of competitors from dozens of countries to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort .
The multi-day festival hosts NASKA NASKA-rated and ISKA-sanctioned divisions, culminating in the globally broadcast Night of Champions.
