Some bittersweet news: after nearly 20 years in the neighborhood, our non-profit arts collective Not An Alternative is moving upstate.

Do you want to take over our space in Greenpoint?

We are currently looking for someone or some entity that could take over our lease and, if you like, continue to run the coworking space.

We have a 1500 sq. ft, warehouse studio at 67 West St, just off of Greenpoint Ave next to Transmitter Park on the waterfront. Half of the space is built out as a coworking office: 10 desks (6 large "double" desks and 4 single desks). If full they generate $3100 in income ($250 for single desks, $350 for large desks or $175 for a dedicated share spot at large desk).

The other half of the space is open space-- can be used as an art studio, office, conference room, etc. The two sides are separated by a wall with frosted sliding double plexiglass doors. The wall could be knocked down if so desired, making one large 1500 sq. ft space.

The total rent for the full space is $3050. We are moving at the end of this month. You could take the lease over as of June 1 or June 15.
