🤖 SPORUN YENİ RAKİPLERİ: İNSANSI ROBOTLAR
Pekin’de düzenlenen World Humanoid Robot Games 2026, spor ile yapay zekânın artık aynı sahada buluştuğunu gösteriyor.
22–26 Ağustos 2026 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilen organizasyonda insansı robotlar; atletizm, futbol, dans, wushu ve jimnastik gibi sportif alanların yanı sıra endüstriyel üretim, ev hizmetleri ve acil durum senaryolarında da yeteneklerini sergiliyor.
Bu organizasyonun asıl önemi madalya yarışından çok daha büyük:
🤖 Robotların hız, denge ve fiziksel kapasitesi test ediliyor.
🧠 Yapay zekâ ve otonom karar verme sistemleri gerçek koşullarda sınanıyor.
🏭 Spor, geleceğin üretim ve hizmet teknolojileri için bir laboratuvara dönüşüyor.
⚽ RoboCup Humanoid Soccer ise robot futbolunun gelişimini KidSize, TeenSize ve AdultSize kategorileriyle geleceğe taşıyor.
World Humanoid Robot Games bize önemli bir mesaj veriyor:
Gelecekte spor yalnızca insanlar arasında yapılan bir rekabet olmayabilir; aynı zamanda yapay zekâ, robotik ve insan–makine etkileşiminin en önemli test platformlarından biri haline gelebilir.
Spor endüstrisinin yeni oyuncuları artık sahaya çıkıyor.

INFANTINO CANNOT RUN AGAIN!
Gianni Infantino’s expected bid for another FIFA presidential term in 2027 is now facing a serious governance challenge.
Human rights organisation FairSquare has formally asked FIFA’s Governance, Audit & Compliance Committee to declare Infantino ineligible to stand again, arguing that FIFA Statutes limit any president to a maximum of three terms in office.
Infantino was elected in 2016, re-elected in 2019 and again in 2023. The controversy centres on FIFA’s 2022 interpretation that his 2016–2019 period should not count as a presidential term. FairSquare argues that this interpretation contradicts both the wording and the purpose of FIFA’s term-limit rules.
This is bigger than one candidate.
It is about term limits, institutional accountability, transparency and the rule of law in global football governance.
If FIFA’s rules are clear, they must apply equally — including to the FIFA President.
The road to the 18 March 2027 FIFA Congress in Morocco may therefore become one of the most important governance battles in FIFA’s recent history.

The big three sport brands practically own football

Adidas, Nike, and Puma split 37 out of 48 teams for the 2026 tournament.

What gets me is that tiny sliver left over. Brands like SAETA, Capelli, and Marathon each got maybe 1 team. Imagine the bidding wars or local political leverage it takes for a regional kit maker to secure that single spot on the global stage.

For Nike or Adidas, it is standard corporate portfolio management. For a smaller brand, that single jersey contract is literally everything

The Crisis at FIFA Has Not Been Resolved — It Has Been Covered Up
FIFA’s senior leadership meeting in Rabat was not so much an act of institutional accountability as an attempt to protect Gianni Infantino’s authority.
The withdrawal of the FIFA Forward Enterprise — FFE project, the apology issued to member associations, and the launch of a review all point to a serious failure of management.
When an institution admits that mistakes were made in a multibillion-dollar project, yet declares full support for its leadership before the review has even been completed, it is impossible to speak of an independent accountability process. The Rabat meeting was not designed to resolve the crisis, but rather to establish a political truce aimed at protecting the Infantino administration.
FFE is not merely a financing model. It is an initiative with the potential to produce strategic consequences for FIFA’s commercial revenues and its control over the global football economy.
FIFA’s reputation is not damaged by criticism. It is damaged by a lack of transparency, closed decision-making processes, and the preparation of multibillion-dollar projects without the meaningful involvement of member associations.
The Rabat statement must also be assessed in the context of the 2027 FIFA presidential election.
The withdrawal of FFE represents both an economic and political defeat for Infantino. What FIFA needs is not institutional solidarity behind its leadership, but independent oversight, transparency, and accountability.
The crisis has not been resolved. It has merely been suppressed until the election process

The finals of the inaugural Beijing Middle School Humanoid Robot Championship were held at Tsinghua University High School on July 22, where humanoid showcased impressive football skills to the delight of cheering spectators. ⚽
