Huge congratulations to Darius on an incredible Top 8 finish in Division II Men’s Foil at Summer Nationals! What a way to cap off the season.
This result didn’t happen by accident. It came from countless hours on the strip, trusting the process, staying patient, and continuing to believe in the work even when nobody was watching.
We’re so proud of you, Darius. Keep building. This is another big step forward, and we can’t wait to see what’s next. ⚔️💙

Congrats to fencer Stephen Jan on his top 8 podium finish at summer nationals in vet 40
Big cheers to the Chang family! Fritz won a Vet 80 medal today at Summer Nationals, but even more importantly, he represents something bigger. He reminds all of us to believe in ourselves at every age, to never give up, to keep fighting until the very end, and to give the sport you love everything you’ve got.
And a big shout out to Sue. I always love spending time with the OG Tiger Mama. ❤️🤺
Camp challenge accepted. 🤺
The little kids are pushing the older kids.

Nobody gets a free pass around here.
Just a room full of fencers making each other better.
Thank you, EUF families, for an incredible year.
Thank you for your commitment, your support, and your willingness to help our program grow and be the best it can be. Thank you for the snacks, treats, meals, and countless acts of kindness that helped keep our community going all year long.
EUF is more than a fencing club. It’s a community, and we’re grateful for every family that has been part of the journey.
The best is yet to come.
First day with Harvard foil coach Jed Dupree.
Today’s lesson: Preparation vs. Interaction
Simple concept. Huge difference.
A great start to camp and an important mindset shift for our athletes.
Camp has officially started with Harvard Coach Jed Dupree.
Day one kicked off with an important discussion on the differences between college fencing and traditional competitive fencing. It was incredibly valuable for our athletes to hear directly from a college coach about what programs are really looking for beyond results and rankings.
Jed took the time to explain key details about team dynamics, and the qualities that make athletes stand out at the collegiate level. Understanding what coaches value—both on and off the strip—gives our fencers a clearer picture of how to prepare for the next stage of their journey.
A great start to an exciting week of learning, training, and growth at EUF. 🔥🤺📚 HarvardFencing
We wrapped up our first EUF Book Club today. 📚☕
Finished We Were Liars, talked about all the twists and turns, had some great conversations, and toasted with Starbucks.
One of the things I love most about EUF is that it’s never just about fencing. It’s about building community, creating memories, and giving our kids experiences they’ll remember.
Cheers to our first book. On to the next one. ❤️📖
Most kids would be home on the couch.
Parker showed up in a cast.
Fresh out of surgery. Sitting in a chair. Taking his lesson anyway.
That’s the difference.
Champions don’t wait for perfect conditions. They adapt. They find another way. They refuse to let setbacks steal momentum.
You can put a cast on his arm, but you can’t put a cast on his heart.
This is what commitment looks like.
This is what hunger looks like.
This is what unstoppable looks like. TrustTheProcess
This is why EUF is more than a fencing club.
We teach fencing, but what we’re really building is confidence, discipline, mentorship, and a community that supports our athletes long after they leave the strip. 🔥Thrilled to share that I’ve officially accepted a position as a Research Associate at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, joining Dr. Daniel Orringer’s lab this August.
Over the next two years, I’ll have the opportunity to work at the intersection of neuroscience, surgery, and translational research, contributing to projects focused on advancing intraoperative technologies and improving patient care.
I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey: my mentors, coaches, teammates, professors, lab colleagues, friends, and family. From the fencing strip to the classroom to the research lab, each experience has shaped the way I approach challenges, teamwork, and growth.
I’m especially excited for the chance to learn from such an innovative team while continuing to explore my passion for neurosurgery and academic medicine.
Looking forward to this next chapter. 💙
