Family. Teamwork. Legacy. 🏊🚴🏃💛
At the recent Franklin Lakes Wyckoff Triathlon, Empire Tri Club founder Alison Kreideweis shared an unforgettable finish with her family. Alison took on the swim, her husband Sascha powered through the bike, and 12-year-old Henry flew through the run!
What an incredible way to experience the sport together—each playing a part, and crossing the finish line as a team.
A beautiful day, an extraordinary family effort, and a memory they’ll share forever.
Congratulations, Alison, Sascha, and Henry!

Eagleman 2026
23-Weeks ago we started an Eagleman 70.3 Training Program. Last Sunday, 52 Empire teammates raced Ironman Eagleman 70.3—the most we have had race at once in the 16-year history of Empire Tri Club. For 12 of our club members this was their 1st Ironman 70.3 ever, and despite the heat & humidity 15 teammates earned a new personal record time!
Teamwork truly does make the dream work. The team repeatedly remarked on how seeing their teammates on the course or on the sidelines cheering gave them the boost that they needed to press through the challenges of the race.
First-timers and seasoned 70.3 athletes alike shared the valuable lessons their learned throughout this training block and on race day. Several athletes learned they are capable of far more than they think they are. Others learned how to not race at top speed and to enjoy the race experience and community. Everyone appreciated the power of community—being absolutely surrounded by teammates, throughout the training and on race day.
As we celebrate the finishers, personal records, and first-time 70.3 accomplishments, in many cases the greatest achievement wasn’t a time on the clock. It was the friendships strengthened, the confidence gained, and the reminder that we are capable of more than we realize when we surround ourselves with people who believe in us. The early mornings, the long rides, the shared struggles, the encouragement, and the unwavering support of a team that showed up for one another every step of the way. Eagleman once again reminded us that endurance is not just about how far we can go on our own, but how much farther we can go together.

Eagleman 2026!
Empire athletes have just completed a 23-week training program leading up to this great moment and we will be celebrating it all week long!
We are extremely proud of these athletes, and everyone who pushed through life’s obstacles to toe the start line at Eagleman!
These fine athletes have accomplished something truly extraordinary.
Athletes, what made this one special for you?

A little late to post, but never too late to celebrate!
Two weeks ago new teammate Skyler, absolutely smoked his 1st 70.3 at Ironman Victoria 70.3 in 5:45:54! Skyler shared that it was a beautiful course, wonderful volunteers and well-supported aid stations.
Next stop Ironman Lake Placid!
