Our co-founder Ariana Rabinovitch recently spoke with Nia Watson at Women's Health Magazine.

Ariana talked about how stretching can support cardiovascular health and longevity. The piece also touched on research into static stretching and arterial stiffness, and includes a short stretch sequence Ariana put together for the article. Simple movements that make a big difference when done consistently.

Proud of this one. Thank you to Nia and the team for the opportunity.

We’re excited to partner with Tommy McClain for a special Strength + Stretch edition of Barbells Over Bottles.

The evening begins with a 45-minute full-body workout designed to challenge you and get you moving.

After class, we’ll be providing one-on-one assisted stretches on massage tables, giving everyone dedicated time to recover, lengthen, and reset after the work they just put in.

You train.

Cold-weather rule: don’t go from bed → sidewalk without waking up your body first.

A few minutes of simple movement goes a long way when the temps drop. Before you head out, try:

• Leg swings to get your hips moving
• Shoulder stretches to open things up after sleep
• Short-range lunges to prep your knees and ankles for the city grind

It’s quick. It’s easy. And it keeps you from stepping into the cold feeling locked up.

Move a little now. Feel better all day!

This Thanksgiving, take a moment to appreciate the body that carries you through long days, and cold nights! Focus on the lower back, arms, and neck for your stretches. These are areas of the body that tense up most during the Fall & Winter seasons. It’s the perfect way to blend gratitude with mobility.

It’s easy to forget your body during busy or rainy days, but movement is essential. Stretch your shoulders, rotate your hips, and take mindful breaths to ease tension. A few minutes of awareness can make the whole day feel lighter. Move with intention, not just out of habit.

Assisted stretching is a one-on-one session with a trained specialist who guides your body through targeted stretches on a massage table. With proper support, you’re able to move into deeper stretch positions than you can achieve on your own for lasting results.

Steps from Grand Central, our personalized sessions are tailored to your goals and abilities. Whether you’re a hard-working mom, an athlete, a busy professional, or simply looking to move and feel better, our specialists provide a safe, effective way to support your body.

Sessions are one-hour, on a massage table in athletic/comfortable clothing.

In the middle of Manhattan’s nonstop pace, take a few minutes to stretch and reconnect with your body. Every small movement counts when it comes to mobility and mindfulness.

Try rolling your shoulders, opening your chest, or standing tall between meetings. Movement isn’t just physical—it’s mental clarity in motion.

Both have science-backed benefits. Foam rolling can help short-term range of motion and circulation (Wiewelhove et al., 2019). Assisted stretching supports flexibility and relaxation through nervous-system regulation. Combine them to improve your flexibility.
