Ohana Wa`a Imi Na`auao Crew Training began in 2008 to annually perpetuate the `ike of voyaging. We are currently planning for 2017. Stay tuned..!

Ohana Wa`a Imi Na`auao Crew Training is a time for crew members from our voyaging families to gather and train as a whole for a long weekend. Training together and strengthening our skills of the past in the present to insure success in the future for all. This year's training will be held on the island of Hawai`i during late spring of 2017, in anticipation of the return of Hokule'a from its Malama Honua, Worldwide Voyage. We will be posting more information as it develops.

Our differences are easily recognised but our ancient relationships aren’t as obvious. While the Moana comprises of more than just the “Polynesian Triangle,” Sonny highlights the connections that have existed between us long before cartographers drew up the boundaries we know today.
