Some exciting events for members only are coming up so listen up! Next week, we will have Atiyab Sultan, author and granddaughter of Sultan Khan have a discussion with our Greg Keener on her book about this legend. A book signing will follow.

We will also have our third annual End-of-Summer BBQ with GM Cam (GM = Grill Master). If you haven't been to one before, come and see/taste what you've been missing! This event alone makes your membership worth it. Everything else is just a bonus after this.

Finally, we are proud to announce a new event series to be held in the Front Room. Our first event in the Front Room series will start on September 8 and will continue every Tuesday for four weeks.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of FM William "Bill" Goichberg.

The founder of Continental Chess Association, Goichberg was an influential, innovative, and essential member of the American chess community for many decades. Read Continental Chess's statement here:
