Hip pain is one of the most common reasons people come to see us.
Here’s something that surprises many people…
Hip pain is often treated as a problem that lives entirely within the hip itself.
Sometimes that’s true.
But many cases of hip pain are influenced by what is happening above and below the joint. The way you walk, stand, balance, breathe, and distribute force throughout your body can all affect how much stress the hip experiences over time.
This is one reason why stretching the hip or strengthening the hip doesn’t always create lasting change. If the underlying movement patterns remain the same, symptoms often return.
At Dynamic Body Pilates, we look beyond the painful area to understand how the whole body is working together. Our goal isn’t simply to reduce symptoms. It’s to help you move with greater strength, confidence, mobility, and ease.
