If you're anything like us, then you can finish a book...without really being done with it. Sometimes we reread old favorites again and again, and sometimes we experience them in a whole new way by switching formats.

The data shows just how often that happens between print and audio. Readers are listening to books they’ve already read and buying physical copies after discovering a book through audio.

What are your favorite multi-format reads?

Audiobooks from a dating app? We didn’t see that one coming.

Hinge has released a series of original audiobooks that tell the real love stories of couples who met on the app, joining a growing number of creators turning to audio to develop original work.

It makes us wonder what the audiobook industry could look like as the format continues to grow. More brands? More original productions? New kinds of creators entering the space entirely?

Where do you think the industry is headed next?

Are man's best friends audiobooks' newest fans?

For the pups home alone, recovering in a cone, bored of their squeaky toys, or simply seeking a more literary alternative to staring at the wall, canine audio is having a moment.

We have questions, obviously. Would dogs prefer memoirs or thrillers? Something with a lot of park scenes? Who are their favorite narrators?

Either way, we’re choosing to see this as proof that audiobooks truly are for every kind of listener.

Do you leave audiobooks playing for your furry friends? If so, what are their favorites? Let us know in the comments below 👇
