What a day! 💜

Our 1st Women’s Open Mat was an incredible success, with more than 30 women from different academies coming together to learn, train, and support one another.

A special thank you to Sofia for organizing and hosting this event. Your hard work, dedication, and attention to every detail made this day possible.

A big thank you to Coach Dylan, the head of our Women’s Program, for helping host the event and for everything you do to create such a welcoming environment for the women in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Naia Lima for generously sharing your time and knowledge. Your talk on nutrition, body composition, and healthy eating gave everyone valuable insights and made the event even more special.

At Jiu Livre, we’re committed to supporting and growing the women’s grappling community in New York City. Bringing women from different teams together to share the mats, learn from one another, and build lasting friendships is exactly what this community is about.

This was only the first of many. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for the next one. Thank you to every woman who came out and made this event so special. 💜🥋
