⚡ brought incredible community energy to our garden beds! 🌱

The ConEd crew got their hands dirty spreading compost, clean soil, mulch, and mycelium 🍄 and yanking out invasive knotweed to give our native plants the best shot at thriving.

Gotham Park is fully charged for summer. Thank you, Con Edison! 🙌

On May 24, 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge opened—expanding what felt possible in New York City. Three years ago, on that same day, Gotham Park was founded with the same conviction.

And we’re just getting started.

If you believe in public space that belongs to everyone, we invite you to be part of what comes next. Make your Founders’ Day gift at the link in bio.

We can’t thank the Goldman Sachs team enough for our fantastic volunteer day last Friday! These rockstar employee volunteers spread a whole dump truck worth of compost, clean soil, mulch, and mycelium 🍄 across our garden beds. Thanks to for delivering all this goodness!

The GS team also spent the morning removing invasive species, including some dreaded knotweed. Yikes!

With this special AAPI Heritage Month engagement, the team built up healthy, living soils to better support our native plant ecosystem that we are establishing here at Gotham Park, while beautifying our park to better serve our community.

We look forward to the next time you visit!
