Gotham Park

2025 was a year of growth, community, and possibility at Gotham Park.

We reopened the historic Big Banks, expanded to nearly four acres of public space, welcomed more than 22,000 visitors to free programs and events, and saw thousands rediscover a place that had been closed for more than a decade.
From skateboarding and wellness programs to cultural celebrations, environmental stewardship, and youth leadership, Gotham Park continues to demonstrate what’s possible when public spaces are created with and for community.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this milestone year possible.

This time, our growth can be seen in the details! Come check out our informative new wayfinding on Frankfort st. and our newly organized storage where you can find equipment open to community use. We’re making improvements that help the space better serve everyone!

So if you’re ready to get your hands dirty, grab a shovel and give back to the community! Join us for Stewardship every Saturday from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. 🌱
And if you want to roll but don’t have a board yet, come borrow a skateboard and learn from the pros with STOKED every Saturday from 1:00–3:00 PM! 🛹

⚡ brought incredible community energy to our garden beds! 🌱

The ConEd crew got their hands dirty spreading compost, clean soil, mulch, and mycelium 🍄 and yanking out invasive knotweed to give our native plants the best shot at thriving.
