One of the most heartbreaking things we see at the shelter are animals that end up at the shelter when their owner passes away.
The animals are always very confused and scared.
This is Sweetie and Festus ❤️❤️
They are beyond scared in the shelter. They are here because their owner died.
It took us days to get them to eat. They have a bed to hide in and they stay curled up together always.
They come out at night when the lights are off to eat.
It truly is heartbreaking because they do not understand what has happened.
We desperately need to find them a quite home together.
